This coming Friday the Los Banos Community Center is expected to host its first public function. In order to make it on time, the contractors, inspectors, tradesmen, and managers are working very hard to finish the building and the grounds.
The following photo-essay shows how things were going on Monday as a small swarm of tradesmen and workers descended on the Community Center with tools in hand.

Inspections of the work being done continue. Here Tim Marrison of the Los Banos Fire Department discusses one of the illuminated EXIT sign that was installed in the courtyard area.

Panel work

The sparkies were busy too. I am not positive what this gentleman was installing but it looks like perhaps it was a lighting unit in the ceiling.

Caulking and weather sealing was also being done at the Los Banos Community Center on Monday

If
everyone in Los Banos would just take 1 or 2 hours a month to do something to
help their neighborhood or their community we could truly make Los Banos the gem
of the valley. The above is
only my personal opinion and I strongly encourage readers to seek out more information
from expert sources. Copyright 2010
