This is the sort of fun and unique scene that just makes ya go "huh?!?!" It also inspires 9 year old kids to ask lots and lots of questions!

This photograph shows a Harley Motorcycle (we have no idea if it originally came from Golden Valley Harley Davidson) hanging from a barn on Mercy Springs road. We had driven by this many times and tried to answer our nine year old's questions with little success. Soooooo...

We stopped and asked the owner of this barn why they hung up a Harley Davidson Motorcycle. We were told that they did it "because it was there". Well that did not quite meet the needs of our 9 year old, but it was a good enough answer for us! We were are told the keys are still in the bike...

The guys were nice enough when we asked... but some things are better left as a mystery I suppose.

If you would like to go birdwatching.. I mean "harly cycle spotting" go South on Mercey Springs road toward Pioneer and have your passenger watch the left side of the highway.... I am not sure this will become a biker's Mecca but if you're a Harley fan ride on over and look at the sense of humor one biker had with his chopper.
