Mercey Springs Road (Highway 156) and Pacheco Blvd. in Los Banos. (Highway 152)

This is said to be the busiest intersection in Merced County California and we believe it. The traffic flow here is pretty intense sometimes, but generally those who are used to city living would never notice it.

Three of the four corners of the intersection have shopping centers on them and in the picture you can see a shopping center that contains a Walgreens, A UPS Store, A Cell Phone store, Chicago Title Company, Quiznos, Starbucks, and other stores. Directly across the street there is a center with a Super K-Mart, a Hollywood video, Christas Pet store, Little Caesar's Pizza, Dominoes Pizza, Supercuts hair salon, a credit union, and a water store. Kitty corner from that there is another shopping center with a Save Mart supermarket, a clothing store, a Chinese restaurant, the teriyaki house, a Rent A Center, a Rite Aid, and the El Rodeo restaurant.

If you continue down Pacheco westbound, make sure you turn down 6th street and visit all of the shops in downtown. There are lots of shopping opportunities and gift stores to avail yourself of.

Note: "Mercey Springs Road" IS spelled that way not in the normal way which you might expect as "Mercy Springs Road".
