Los Banos honored the submariners who lost their lives protecting America on October 13, 2007 when this memorial was dedicated to them on the campus of Merced College in Los Banos California.

The memorial includes a large inscribed stone as well as a numbers of trees planted in honor of the men who have fallen.

Located at the front of the Main Building (Lobby Building A) this stone reads:

These trees are dedicated to the memory of those United States Submariners who made the ultimate sacrifice so that we might live in freedom.
