The Eagle Field Museum near Los Banos and Dos Palos California has a nice tidy display of all sorts of neat equipment from World War II. We saw Navy signal lights, radios, old walkie talkies, newspapers, helmets, weapons like rifles, mortars and grenades, uniforms, saddles, and just a ton more.

If you are ever lucky enough to visit Eagle Field near Los Banos make sure you do not just go to the dinner dance, but also avail yourself of the opportunity to go through this small but nicely appointed museum.
