The Milliken Museum in Los Banos Ca has a whole host of historical items on display. The residents of our town are rightly proud of their history and many items from that history are on display here.
In this photograph you can see a pair of old typewriters on display in front of a case of ribbons and campaign buttons etc. The typewriters are of course pre-electric and were made by the JC Smith company and the Underwood Typewriter company.
To the left is an old rolltop desk with what we believe is a piece of telephone exchange equipment on display along with an old blade style fan.
Under the desk there appears to be a slightly more modern typing aid...
