Henry Miller Plaza

Henry Miller Plaza in Los Banos California is a beautiful addition to the downtown Los Banos area. There is a statue of one of our town founders: Henry Miller mounted on his horse. Water tumbles down over some rocks into a small pool near a bronze cow and her calf. We have seen a lot of families just sitting around and enjoying a peaceful evening at this plaza. We really do appreciate the City of Los Banos Ca. placing this 'park' here. It makes a great focal point for the community and the old-style art is a welcome addition to our town.

The Rail Corridor Trail goes alongside the back of the plaza and every Saturday during the summer, there is a farmer's market in the morning.

What Henry Miller is "looking at" our downtown. Don't be fooled, we don't really have many "traffic jams"! Isn't it mazing what the focal length on a zoom lens will do to make light traffic look heavy. This photo was taken at the plaza with a telephoto lens.
