This is a park? O.K. I have to say it's downright "goofy" to categorize Downtown Plaza as a "park" but that is what the city apparently does. It's not a park. It's a "plaza", or basically a place to sit and rest (?) in the midst of shopping or something like that. I have never, in all of my visits to downtown, ever seen anyone sitting at Downtown Plaza, (perhaps due to lack of mid-day shade?) but it does make a nice little addition to the downtown area. Just don't call it a park, unless you are thinking of it in the sense of parking yourself on a bench for awhile...
