"The Order Sons of Italy in America (OSIA) is the largest and longest-established national organization of men and women of Italian heritage in the United States. OSIA was formed in 1905 in New York City to assist Italian immigrants to assimilate into American society.

Brothers G. Aragona, J. Dambrosio, and N. Latorraca of Los Banos instituted the "Redenzione" Lodge No. 1427, September 5, 1926"
