The following descriptive information was sent to us fopr posting by a member of the SHOUT Arts Leadership Group.

SHOUT! Arts is a non-profit, community-led, arts program located in Los Banos, California. Comprised of over 60 members ranging in age from 4 to 67, SHOUT! offers low-cost workshops in the visual, performance, musical and craft arts. All of our members reside in Los Banos, California and the surrounding area communities.

SHOUT! Arts offers four seasons annually. Each 10-week season consists of at least 10 one-hour workshop sessions and at least one major performance per workshop. By working with community and school organizations, like the Parks & Recreation Department, the High School Music Department and the Los Banos High School Performing Arts Group, SHOUT! is able to present year-round community wide performances.

SHOUT! Arts seeks to

• create community solidarity across ethnic, cultural, religious and economic boundaries;

• become a cultural resource and an educational access point for community arts; and

• promote healthy living by spirited example."
