Los Banos Al-Anon

Al-Anon is an anonymous support group for family members of alcoholics. Los Banos California Al-Anon meets on Thursdays in the Pinnacle Health Care Center Suite D on Mercy Springs Road at 7 PM.

"The Al-Anon Family Groups are a fellowship of relatives and friends of alcoholics who share their experience, strength and hope in order to solve their common problems. We believe alcoholism is a family illness and that changed attitudes can aid recovery.

Al-Anon is not allied with any sect, denomination, political entity, organization, or institution' does not engage in any controversy; neither endorses nor opposes any cause. There are no dues for membership. Al-Anon is self-supporting through its own voluntary contributions.

Al-Anon has but one purpose; to help families of alcoholics.

H.O.W. II Al-Anon/Alateen Family Study Group meets EVERY Thursday at 7 p.m. at the Pinnacles Urgent Care Center on Mercey Springs Road in Suite D.

My name is Mary A. and I've been in Al-Anon for 32 years and still have not attained "perfection"! This has been a one-day-at-a-time, at best, program of recovery for me and I am happy to report that I've attained a great deal of serenity, have a healthier sense of humor, am not as reactive as I once was, and have learned compassion for the suffering alcoholic while maintaining my sense of identity, which I'd totally lost 32 years ago.
