The following
text is from the owner of OurLosBanos.com: I just
had to say something about this one. Who in their right mind would rip off a piece
of equipment like this from a public safety organization that might use it to
protect YOU and your family in the event of a fire. Thermal imagers of this type
are useful for one thing and that is rescuing people in smoke filled rooms and
other dangerous environments. If you know who
ripped this off PLEASE do drop a dime on them and get this equipment back in the
hands of the Los Banos Fire Department where it belongs. This device belongs on
a fire truck waiting to save lives. While it
looks like a fun toy, it is far more valuable to your family should YOUR house
be the next one that the fire department has to roll to. In
the hands of people who will use this imager to pull you or your family members
out of a burning structure before they are either burned to death or asphyxiated
this device could be a life saver. Let's get it back.
