The City of Los Banos and local groups, companies, clubs and organizations offer our visitors and residents many opportunities to participate in community events, activities, and special attractions. The calendar of event links below will take visitors to the OurLosBanos.com monthly event calendars which list community attractions and functions that the public is invited to. There are lots of things to do in Los Banos.

We want to cover all of your events throughout the year as well as any events planned for the holidays including New Year's Eve / New Years Day, Valentine's Day, St. Patrick's Day, April Fools Day, Good Friday, Easter, Mayday, Fourth Of July, Labor Day, Memorial Day, President's Day, Veteran's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.

But we also want to hear about every single other event or public meeting that may occur in this town so we can post it here! If your business is throwing a public party or having any sort of public function let us know! If your church or social group is having a public function tell us about it! The more that people participate by sending us event announcements the less chance there is of overlapping events being planned!

We just can not be complete without YOU! If you are aware of an upcoming event not listed here or if you are planning an event in Los Banos that would be of interest to the general public PLEASE contact us! We will review your request for inclusion and likely place it on the calendar!

* We consider appropriate events to be almost anything that is positive or beneficial to the general Los Banos community. We reserve to sole right of decision as to what will be included on our site, but we are pretty open to just about anything that would be of interest to our community. A few very examples of types of events that we are willing to place on the calendar are: Fairs, rummage sales, special community organization meetings, business open houses / tours, festivals, nature or interpretive outings, field trips, senior events, scout or youth organization events, special business events, ribbon cutting ceremonies, new business openings, PAL events, public safety exhibitions, first aid training, shows, plays, public parties, special musical performances, hunter safety courses, parades or anything else that is appropriate. Infrequent single day contest type events by bona-fide local businesses are also appropriate for inclusion.

Examples of inappropriate things that would be turned down include things like: most protest activities, anything illegal, items that would tend to corrupt public morality or stuff that we consider sleazy or not edifying to the community in general.
