Charter schools are a wonderful option for parents and children living in Los Banos. Although our city does not have any charter schools operating within our city limits, we are served by a number of charter schools in adjacent counties.

Charter schools are public schools funded by tax dollars, so they are "FREE" to attend/participate in. The schools listed here support homeschooled students as well as offer materials, classes, activities and field trips. You meet with a teacher, usually once a month (or more depending on the student and the school or arrangement), get free learning materials such as books, supplies, etc. and get the opportunity to socialize and learn with other children. These schools are a really wonderful way to personalize your child's education.
