October 22 - Anti-domestic violence rally will be held from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.. The march will begin at Pacheco Park and conclude at City Hall, 520 J Street. There will be speeches given at City Hall and the event will end at the Police Annex with refreshments and information given out.

October 24 - Car Wash & Raffle Our local Animal Shelter can use your help. A group of local volunteers are holding a car Wash & Raffle on Saturday, October 24th at Rooney's Liquor Store at located at 310 W. Pacheco Blvd. starting at 9 AM. You can help them out by getting your car washed and purchase a raffle ticket or two. The raffle drawing will be held at 2 PM and you need not be present to win.
