December 3 -The Community Prayer Group is a non denominational group of people of faith from many different congregations who meet on the first Thursday of each month at 1PM. December 8 - Parent Talk a support group for parents of children with every kind of disability meets every second Tuesday at St. John's Lutheran Church, 250 West Adams from 1:00 p.m to 2:00 p.m. Child Care is provided. December 8 - Challenged Support Group A parent support group offered through Challenged Family Resource Center. The group meets at St. John's Lutheran Church at 1:00 p.m. every second Tuesday of the Month. All parents with a child or children with a disability are invited to attend. December 9 - Annual Winter Christmas Concert directed by Tom Faria will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the high school multi-purpose room. Admission will be $5 for adults and $3 for students. Children under 12 are free.

December 10 - Military Family Suppport Group meets at the Vagabond Inn at 7 p.m.

December 13 - Compassionate Friends Worldwide Candle Lighting will be held at Pacheco Park at 6:45 p.m. Canles will be lit at 7 p.m. in honor of the memory of children who have died. There will be a Power Point presentation with pictures of children from our community who have been lost. December 27 - The Central Valley Fast Draw Club has made the last Sunday of each month their club shoot day!
Shoots will start at 9:30 am with the shooter sign in and shooter meeting, with a prompt start at 10 am.

Dec. 28th - Los Banos Elks Monday Night Football with Hot Dogs and Beer.  5:00 p.m.

December 31 - New Year's Eve Celebration will be held at the Los Banos O'Banion Auditorium. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Gourmet prime rib buffet will begin at 7:30 p.m. Dancing will be from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. with DJ Ron Norman. There will be a champagne toast at midnight followed by sweets and confections. Age 21 or older. Attire: trendy / upscale. $75 per person. Tickets are available at Espanas and the Chamber office. Food costs $2 and you don't have to worry about the cleanup!

Cherish's exercise program for seniors meets from 10-11 a.m. at the McArthur Apartments on F Street.

Monday and Friday
Senior's Arts & Crafts and Quilting Classes at 830 6th street from 9 am to 12 pm and 1 pm to 4 pm. (excluding holidays). Gloris is the instructor. Everyone is welcome. Bring your own project or work on a class project.

Monday:

Park Day! Every Wednesday

Free breastfeeding support group. 1 PM at the education center in Memorial Hospital. Meet with other moms and measure your baby's progress.

And working with other Veterans organizations for the betterment of the Veterans with special needs.

Fitness for active seniors class - This free class taught by John Spevak will be held at the Los Banos Merced College Campus. Classes start Sept. 3 and will occur every Wednesday and Friday morning from 8:30 -10 a.m. Classes will be held in room B-136.

Alcoholics Anonymous Serenity at Noon Group meets Mondays through Fridays in the recreation hall at 903 Pacheco Blvd. from noon to 1 p.m.
They also meet on Wednesday and Saturday evenings from 7 to 8 p.m.

Narcotics Anonymous meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Greyhound Bus Depot, 820 G St.
