Awareness Week (LAAW), a time to call attention to the abusive lawsuits that
are alive and thriving in California. For those who question whether lawsuit abuse

Orchid: An Evening in the Orient, is scheduled for October 4, 2008 at the Los

4 - Hospital Gala to Support Emergency Department The hospital foundation is hosting
a gala fundraising event on Saturday, October 4th 6pm to midnight at the O'Banion
Building at the fairgrounds. Many of you know what fun this event can be, and
this year funds raised will go to support improvements to the Emergency Department.
It is so important to have a good emergency department in Los Banos - and for
those of you fortunate enough to NOT have needed us - it is a good department,
with good patient satisfaction and quite modern technology and medical care. They
quickly assess the urgency and have fast transfers when warranted. We all want
the emergency room to be here when we need it, this party is a chance to have
some fun and contribute to emergency room improvements. I'm thinking of it as
a fun investment in our communuity's future. Dress is black tie or asian theme
attire. Tickets are $100 and available for purchase at Espanas. More information
