March 29 - Wanted: HELP planning the second
Henry Miller Wild West Weekend Public Forum - 11am, March 29, 2008 at the Vagabond
Inn, 20 W Pacheco, Los Banos .... RSVPA little more than a handful of people created
the first Henry Miller Wild West Weekend; the Committeeis nowinviting the public
to join them for a planning session of the 2nd event with hopes to make it even
bigger and better than the first. The first Henry Miller Wild West Weekend culminated
our summer long Centennial Celebration, celebrated our cow town history and 100+
years of cultural diversity. All who attended the first year agreed the event
was a great success, clamoring not only for a second year, but also for different
venues. In order for this outstanding community event to reach its potential,
it needs the help and support of the Los Banos Community. This is your chance
to be a part of Los Banos history; it’s an opportunity to raise funds/awareness
for your club, church, organization or group. It’s an opportunity to give to your
community, to really be a part of your town, to make a difference. . There’s something
for everyone to do; from helping plan/work the event, host an info booth, be a
vendor, financially support it (every dollar helps), to attending the event and
helping clean up. This is truly a community project, by and for the community.
Join the Los Banos Chamber of Commerce and the Henry Miller Wild West Weekend
Committee in putting on a really big show. Our cultural diversity and our history
makes us great; don’t miss out on Henry Miller Wild West Weekend 2008. It starts
now!
