This year, the Black & White Ball is borrowing from the fashionable and flamboyant era of the 1920’s. With the theme, The Great Gatsby, this is going to be the best yet. The Royal Jazz Society Orchestra, which played for George Lucas’s private parties among others, is coming from San Francisco to play tunes from one of America’s greatest musical decades. Starfish catering will have their best hors d’oeuvres, plus we’ll have myriad gourmet desserts. You can sip a sloe gin fizz while you check out the surprises on the 2nd floor or bid on fabulous silent auction prizes, like a 7-day cruise or weekend on the coast.
Photographers will be on site to capture every minute of entertainment, a plus since you’ll be too busy having fun to take pictures!

The Ball is Saturday, April 19 at 7:30pm. We also are offering a free dance lesson on Saturday, April 12 at 11:30am. Tickets are $75/person and include 2 complimentary drinks.

Please call me for more information or to reserve your seats. Or, visit the event website, http://www.artsmerced.org/news_events/bwball/gatsby.html.
