2 - - SUMMER FUN CAMP Create childhood memories that
will last a lifetime! Participants will enjoy a diverse array of experiences based
around a new theme each session. Kids will make new friends, learn new games,
and make craft projects. Summer Fun Camp helps develop skills, builds confidence,
and provides a safe, supervised environment for kids. All children from kindergarten
through those entering sixth grade are able to join the program. During the summer
there will be swimming, field trips, and other fun activities. Camp headquarters
is located at the Germino Building in the Fair Grounds. Recreation staff will
provide two snacks daily (morning and afternoon), however participants will need
to bring a lunch daily.
-Full Day Session Fee- $175.00 (includes field trip)
-Half Day Session Fee- $125.00 (5 hours or less)
-Full Day- $25.00 -Half Day-
$20.00 (5 hours or less)
-Field Trip- $35.00 Ages: 5-12 years - Times: 7:30

2 - the United Methodist Church is
once again putting on the local VBC for our community. The registration price
is $17.00 per child if you register before June 1st and after that, it's an additional
$5.00 per child. The dates for VBS is the first week of July (July 2 - . YES,
they do have VBS ON a the Fourth of July). The time is: 9:00 am to 12:30 p.m.
Ages: 4 yrs to 10 yrs (note: must be 4 yrs before Aug 1). You can pick up a registration
form at the church office (they have them on the outside of the door).

& Mr. " Firecracker " Contest at the Los Banos Fairgrounds "4th of July Centennial
Celebration" 5:00 pm (be there by 4:30). Boys & Girls from 3-9 years old. Division
Winners will be broken up by age groups: Tiny Miss Firecracker, Petite Miss Firecracker,
Little Miss Firecracker, and Little Mr. Firecracker . Talent Winner (optional)
will be crowned, as well as Outstanding Special Awards. One contestant with the
highest overall points will be crowned Miss or Mr. Centennial! (entries are limited
~ first come, first serve) Win Crowns, Prizes, Toys, and Gifts Only $20 to enter
~ No one goes home empty-handed! Wear your best Red, White & Blue playclothes!
No fancy dress clothes please, we want the kids to look like kids!! For more info

Building for a Tea Dance. We will start at 2 p.m. and run until 5. Tom Faria
will be joined by Colin Tamburri on trumpet and Ron Bertao on Drums. We will
be playing old standards like Satin Doll and Spanish Eyes, along with some Elvis
and old country. In case the temperature rises above 105, and the Miller and
Lux Center has to be used as a cooling center, we will reschedule the event.
