Park Day! Every Wednesday - 10 AM - Mothers and children of all ages meet in the park to chat and let their kids play. Children of all ages are welcome from infant to seventeen. Click here for more information.

April 3 - At 1:30 p.m. the Golden Agers Club meets at the Miller Lux Building. Call 826-5257 or 827-7046.

April 3 - Spring Choral Concert in the High School Multi-Purpose Room at 7:30 p.m.

April 4 - The first Wednesday of each month is the regular dinner meeting night of the Los Banos Sportsmen’s Association. Guests are welcome.

April 4 - Council meeting at City Hall, 7 p.m.

April 4 - O.L.F. 4-H Club Meeting at 6:00 PM at 1621 Center Ave. (St. Joseph Parish Hall). Call Linda at 826-9461 or Donna at 826-2022 if you have any questions.

April 5 - Men's Community Prayer Group. Men from different congregations meet each 1st Thursday of the month. All are welcome and the meeting is non-denominational. You can join them at City Hall (520 J St.) from noon to 1 p.m. For more info. call Brenda Smith or Steve Hammond at 827-0797.

April 7 - "Every Saturday & Sunday (except Easter Sunday) in April are Wildflower Hikes: 10 a.m. to noon --- Old Adobe Hikes: noon to 1 p.m. WILDFLOWER DAYS Celebration Help celebrate Pacheco State Park’s 10thAnniversary with a delightful springtime hike. Join park naturalist Jennifer Morgan to view this year’s lovely wildflower display overlooking San Luis Reservoir. Jennifer will discuss the Native American and pioneer uses of plants and rich history of Pacheco Pass. The hike is about two miles long and is classed as moderate."

April 11 - A 6 week safesitter course begins at Memorial Hospital. Classes are held on Wednesday afternoons from 4-6pm and costs $20. Call 826-0591 for more detailed class information or to register.

April 11 - Los Banos Tigers Trap Team Parent's Club Meetings 6:30 PM at LB Sportsmens facility on Mercey Springs Rd. If your child is participating or wants to...these meetings are important to attend! Kids pratice every Monday night at the trap range on Mercey Springs -if anyone's interested in observing before commiting to the team. Due to the large growth in team membership from the last years, parent participation is really needed!! This is a family-oriented, co-ed, scholastic sport.

April 14 - Wild on Wetlands. The "headquarters" will be set up at Henry Miller Plaza at the intersection of 6th and H streets. There will be two grasslands tours leaving via bus from 9 a.m. to noon and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Call 826-2495 for more info.

April 14 - Merced County Spring Fair's annual Kick Off Dinner at the O' Banion Building at the Fairgrounds. Tickets are $20 and available at the spring fair office (403 F. St.). Social hour begins at 6 p.m. and dinner will start at 7 p.m. There will also be an auction of fair packages and prints of the Spring Fair theme poster.

April 15 - Windman VII Triathlon

April 25 - Choir Concert Wednesday, April 25. 7:30 p.m. at the High School Multi-Purpose Room. Admission will be $5 for adults, $3 for students, and free for elementary children . We have a wide variety of music to sing From Mozart to Lauridsen. Sacred and Secular. We even have the girls singing a medley from Sister Act.

April 25 - Walking at Work Day
A nationwise call-to-action from the American Heart Association for Americans to start living a healthy lifestyle. Join Los Banos businesses and individuals in this healthy community project. We will chart our mileage and attempt to walk around the world. Every mile counts!

April 28 - Carrillo's Shotokan Karate-Do 14th Annual Tournament at Los Banos High School. Doors open @ 8 a.m. and competition starts @ 10. We hold this karate competition every year and we would like to get more involvement from the community. This is a great event for all ages and we have folks that come from as far as Mexico and even Yuba City. We have approx. 300-500 people show every year. If you have any further questions please contact Tonya Carrillo @ 675-3599.

April 29 - Our Los Banos Get Together Picnic at Meadowlands III Park. The picnic starts in the late morning, but most participants are expected to arrive after nooon. All forum participants are welcome to join. Please bring a food item to share and bring your own beverages.
