Park Day! Every Wednesday - 10 AM - Mothers and children of all ages meet in the park to chat and let their kids play. Children of all ages are welcome from infant to seventeen. Click here for more information.

Sept 1 - Bingo at Los Banos Cherish, 1130 F St. from 10 to 11:30 a.m. For more information call 826-4777.

Sept. 2 - Victory Outreach (Swords Afire Ministries) Legacy M/C Run '06

Sept. 2 - Swords Afire ministry, in conjunction with Victory Outreach Church, is having a public motorcycle run.
The cost is $10 per rider.
Meet at 8:30 a.m. at the church, 1231 Fourth St.
The run will end at Pacheco Park and there will be a FREE community BBQ with entertainment, a bounce house, motorcycle contest and more! This event is for anyone, not just motorcycle riders.

Sept. 4 - Labor Day - Trash pickup will be one day late due to the holiday

Sept. 6 - The first Wednesday of each month is the regular dinner meeting night of the Los Banos Sportsmen’s Association. Guests are welcome.

Sept. 6 - Free childbirth preparation class begins. Classes are held for 6 weeks on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Please call (209)826-0591 for more detailed class information or to register.

Sept. 6 - Lady of Fatima 4H Meeting at 1621 Center Ave. (St. Joseph Parish Hall), 6:00 PM.

Sept. 7 - Playhouse Sessions, acting and voice lessons for children 7-18, start at the Ted Falasco Arts Center. For more information, contact Burns at 725-8587

Sept. 9 - Carseat safety class offered at Memorial Hospital. The cost of the class is $20 and you can receive a car seat for attending. Contact Cheryl Hixson at 826-0591 ext. 270.

Sept. 9 - Central Valley Ride for a Cure -to raise funds for Muscular Dystrophy.

Sept. 23 - FREE Community Health Fair at the Los Banos Fairgrounds from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Germino Building. There will be free health screenings, information and demonstrations from over 30 agencies. You can even get immunizations, but bring a health record.

Sept. 23 - Soroptimist Recycling Day at the Los Banos airport.

Sept. 25 - Bully Busters seminar at Kenpo Karate. They will be showing children 12 ways on how to walk away with confidence. If you child was ever bullied or were bullies themselves, this would be a great seminar to attend.
Times are at 4pm, 5pm, or 6pm.
Parents should attend so you can help to reinforce what they learn.

There is a senior and disabled persons lunch from noon to 1 p.m. at McArthur Apartments, 1130 F St.
Food costs $2 and you don't have to worry about the cleanup!

Mondays: Monday morning park day at College Greens Park, 10:30 am.

Tuesdays:

Narcotics Anonymous meets Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7:30 to 9 p.m. at the Greyhound Bus Depot, 820 G St.
